・Tangtang Leader of the "Qingbo Stronghold," a self-governing organization of outlaws in Wuling. She frequently launches attacks on Wuling City, a highly civilized area, to secure resources. While the organization appears similar to the Landbreakers as a community of people left behind by civilization, the scale of Qingbo Stronghold's activities is so small it is often dismissed as a joke. Perhaps for this reason, they are not currently subject to strict crackdowns. In fact, considering the environment the stronghold is in, there is a tendency at the field level to overlook various criminal acts, starting with raids on transport convoys. As the boss of Qingbo Stronghold, Tangtang has a free-spirited and straightforward personality but is deeply loyal and compassionate. She loves playing in the water and hates betrayal. Once she recognizes someone as a "comrade," she will risk her life to save them. As a baby, she floated down a river in a bamboo basket and reached Qingbo Stronghold. Raised by nearby residents, she is now a member of the stronghold. She lost sight in her left eye after being caught in an Arts rampage during a conflict with a certain faction and has worn an eyepatch ever since. Although she can be a bit too competitive, she has an honest personality and always repays favors, even to those she has spent little time with. Despite being part of the younger generation in the stronghold, she is respected and called "Big Boss" by many subordinates, including the brilliant Jinwu, known as the "Genius of Qingbo." While she acts tough like a "Big Boss" in front of others, she is actually bluffing at times, feeling the pressure of her responsibility to protect her subordinates and facing powerful opponents. Luan Yi, who serves as the practical coordinator in place of the inexperienced Tangtang, respects her as the formal leader while looking out for her like an older brother. Additionally, she harbors a secret romantic crush on Yutaka from the Hongshan Academy of Sciences, whom she met by chance in the Mist Forest; she showed a cute side by acting shy when Yutaka treated her leg injury. She has a habit of giving her comrades three-character kanji nicknames, calling the Administrator "Kuro-Yasha," Chen "Ao-Shoryu," and Perica "Shiro-Nomen." Performing a plunging attack on locked enemies ends the effect early but deals even greater Cold damage. Since it can incapacitate even bosses, it can be used to safely deal DPS or stop dangerous attacks. Background: Her birth remains a mystery, but according to Hongshan Academy research, Tangtang appears to carry ancient Yan blood. While the "Magic Eye" resulted from the aforementioned accident, her water Arts stem from this lineage. People who migrated from Yan to Talos II generally joined Hongshan Academy or Wuling City, but it is strongly suggested that Tangtang's parents could not rely on them for some reason and raised their daughter in a remote area while being consumed by Oripathy. No matter how established treatment is, without suppressants, the end is the same as for the Infected on Terra. It is believed her mother set Tangtang adrift in the river as a last resort, entrusting her to the people downstream. Fortunately, Tangtang was picked up by Luan Lin, the leader of Qingbo Stronghold, and survived. She grew up healthy as part of the family of Lin and his son, Luan Yi. Loved by those around her as the "Young Mistress," she lived a life without much hardship despite lacking the benefits of civilization. However, that life eventually came to an end. Tianshi in Wuling City caused a serious experimental accident while researching the Rift, and the aftermath reached Qingbo Stronghold. The disruption of peace by the Tianshi who moved into the area sparked great anger, and eventually, Luan Lin planned to raid Wuling City's supply convoys for retaliation and survival. Tangtang was told to stay behind but secretly followed them to the site in bad weather. In the story, she rescues the Administrator's party from an Angelos attack while they are heading to Wuling City at U3's request. She tries to demand valuables in exchange, but through Chen's quick thinking, they form a cooperative relationship. After saving Qingbo Stronghold from the Angelos threat and repairing the broken waterwheel, she was so impressed by the Administrator's skill that she recognized Endfield as sworn siblings.
Intro
Around noon, by a river near a secluded mountain peak in Valley 4, Yutaka is looking at his terminal and worrying while deep in thought. It seems Perica, his sister at Endfield Industries, gave him an assignment to "create a project proposal."
