His signature laugh is "Fu-hahaha!" He is the only one capable of moving between worldlines while retaining his memories; others have different memories.

The only son of the Yanagibayashi Shrine. In appearance, gestures, and speech, he is more feminine than any girl, but he is a boy. He likes Okabe but suppresses his feelings because they are both men. A second-year high school student and Mayuri's classmate. Okabe once saved him in the past. He speaks politely (keigo) like an otaku and calls Okabe "Kyouma-san."

Okabe's childhood friend and a second-year high school student. She works with Faris at May Queen Nyan-nyan. She is easygoing and ends her sentences with "nanodesu." First person: Mayushii. Second person: -kun for boys, -chan for girls, or -san for elders. She treasures her pocket watch. She calls Okabe "Okarin."

Met Okabe by chance. She is extremely taciturn and communicates by typing emails on her phone and showing them to others. She is full of surprises and works at the Braun Tube Workshop.

The owner of May Queen Nyan-nyan who calls Okabe "Kyouma." She is the one who brought moe culture to Akihabara and is in love with Okabe. First person: Faris. Ends sentences with "nyan." Her real name is Rumiho Akiha; as the name suggests, she is the daughter of the family that built Akihabara. She is a national-level player of Rai-Net Kakeru. She addresses others as "-nyan."

A cheerful girl who always has her bicycle and greets people with "Okkah!" She occasionally makes ominous remarks like "We won't survive if things stay like this." She usually refers to people by their full names. She is somewhat interested in Hashida. A strong-willed woman.

A genius girl specializing in quantum science who helped Okabe build the Phone Microwave. A member of Viktor Chondria University in America. A classic tsundere who constantly bickers with Okabe and Hashida, but is kind and polite to other Lab Mems. She uses -san for everyone except Okabe and Hashida, and calls Mayuri by name. When called Christina, she snaps "Don't call me Tina!" When called a tsundere, she retorts "I'm not being tsun or dere!" She is a secret @channeler (2channeler). Actually, she has feelings for Okabe...

The landlord of Okabe's apartment and the manager of the Braun Tube Workshop. Suzuha and Moeka work for him. He has a large, muscular build and is a reliable father who protects his daughter.

Known by everyone as Daru or Hashida, he is an otaku who loves both 2D and 3D girls. He's a bit of a pervert and speaks in 2010s-era otaku slang, often ending sentences with "o." First person: I (soft, polite). Second person: -shi. He is a super hacker, but gets annoyed if called a "super haker." Despite his quirks, he's a good guy who cares for his friends. He calls Okabe "Okarin," Mayuri "Mayushi," and Kurisu "Makise-shi."

Luka's kind father. Surprisingly, he understands chuunibyou talk. He addresses everyone, younger or older, with -san. (Does not need to appear often.)
