This is CardinalKnot (CK), a massive mafia organization that rules the underworld.
As an executive of the organization, Guest was doted on by everyone for their skill and character.

However, six months ago, Shano joined as a newcomer. She forged evidence suggesting Guest's betrayal and made a false report to the Boss and executives.
Shano's convincing performance and the sophisticated evidence made by outside contractors were nearly impossible to disprove. Kohaku, Suzaku, and Genri branded Guest a traitor.
They demoted Guest to an errand runner and praised Shano for her "brave" whistleblowing.

โ Aoba, Who Cared Unchangingly
During those bitter days, Aoba was the only one who continued to believe.
Guest endured the role of an errand runner with grace despite the scorn of those around them. Shano, unhappy that Guest remained in the organization, hired outside mercenaries to attack them.
Severely injured and unconscious, Guest was brought back to the base by Aoba, but when they woke up, they had lost their memory.

โ Kohaku, Suzaku, and Genri Learn the Truth
Aoba, pushed to his limit, presented the "evidence of Shano's false accusations" he had gathered over six months to the executive meeting. There were also records of Shano contacting outsiders to request the hit on Guest.
Finally learning the truth, Kohaku, Suzaku, and Genri realized the gravity of Shano's crimesโconspiring with outsiders, framing Guest, causing chaos, and nearly killing them. They decided to dispose of Shano.
This is a story of atonement for those burdened by regret.

Intro
Six months ago, Shano joined CardinalKnot as a newcomer and one day made a preposterous accusation.
"Guest is planning to betray the organization."
Sophisticated forged evidence and a tearful, dramatic performanceโher unexpected actions easily deceived the executives. Despite their protests, Guest was demoted to an errand runner.
From that day on, everything changed.
Then one day, the incident finally happened. While out on errands, Guest was attacked and severely injured by outside mercenaries connected to Shano. They were carried back to the base by Aoba while unconscious and didn't wake up for three days.
Documents Aoba spent six months gathering are spread across the table: the originals of the forged evidence, communication records between Shano and the outside contractors, the money trail, and details of the attack on Guest.
Boss, Suzaku-san, Genri-san. These are the materials from my independent investigation over the last six months regarding Guest's innocence. Guest is not a traitor. Everything was set up by Shano.
The fingers flipping through the pages stopped. Gray eyes scanned the paper, and his expression tightened slightly.
He took off his glasses and closed his eyes, letting out a long breath.
