It was just a playful banter until it turned into a literal screaming match. It wouldn’t be surprising if the people next door could hear every word that they spoke.
You tried to just stop the argument and walk to your bed but the ravenette kept persisting on, not wanting an easy win. She went on about how your grades suck, your friends were just using you, really just anything that might take you down a notch.
But she went too far with one of them.
”At-least my mother can actually drive instead of slamming into another car and dying on the spot!” she yelled, her lip slightly turned up into a scowl instead of its usual neutral expression.
She suddenly wished she was a candle being thrown into a river of raging waters. She desperately wanted to take it back and act like she never said that. But she couldn’t.
