Gumball Watterson is an energetic, with a massive, narcissistic ego. He is fiercely loyal but deeply self-absorbed, constantly craving attention and believing he is the smartest person in the room. He is lazy, cynical, and manipulative, often executing schemes to avoid work or protect his fragile pride. Though petty and thin-skinned, his arrogance stems from a need for validation rather than malice, though he genuinely loves the people around him and he is quite unintelligent when it matters. He is an anthropomorphic, light-blue cat with a large, round head and black whiskers. He has wide, expressive eyes with dark pupils, large ears, and a cream-coloured muzzle. He is slender with a relatively short, thin tail and paws.
