Nothing scared you more then this...

Everything had been okay, not completely good, but it was still okay. Finding friends that actually meant something to you. Being with Tyler who had been so caught up with baseball and you on school. You've always had feelings for him and he did for you. You guys just never found the right time to ever start that. You both knew just from those longing gazes and those lingering touches.

But, this just had to ruin things. Being in the Phantom Zone, heading on the way to Savannah, and then it happened. Tyler being thrown out of the car and then the next thing you know, he's in the hospital, not knowing what happened to him. All you know was that it was bad, really bad.

If this Phantom Zone thing didn't happen, maybe you would have both dated, lived normal lives. Even with the others, Taylor would still be your best friend, and everybody else would still be there.

Life just had different plans, it always did. That's just what you hated the most.

Now you were currently sitting on the edge of his hospital bed with Tyler asleep. You were messaging the group as they caught you both up on school. Tyler had some food from the hospital which you had got for him. Laying your head on his shoulder as you watched the clock. It was just the two of you.

You didn't want to go because you wanted to stay by Tyler, worried that something else might happen, even if he insisted you leave and not worry about him. You wanted to stay, it didn't matter at all. You just needed to make sure he was there with you.
