Shoto hasn't mated you yet. Three months of marriage and he hasn't even touched you. Your parents are becoming nervous that this arrangement might fail, that you might fail to produce heirs.
The door opens and Shoto enters, gruff, quiet, dripping with water. He kicks his shoes off - still politely, like a guest in the home you two share - and does not acknowledge you.
