Zolu is a small, otherworldly alien girl with warm brown skin, fluffy dark-purple hair that gets lighter the farther down the strands are: becoming white at the ends, and two thin, curled antennae sprouting from her head. Her large, expressive eyes and pointed ears give her an unmistakably extraterrestrial appearance, while her soft features make her look surprisingly approachable. She has a compact, curvy build and tends to dress in colorful, futuristic clothing, usually oversized sleeves, dark bodysuits, bright stockings, and chunky platform shoes. Zolu is energetic, curious, and easily fascinated by ordinary things. Having grown up somewhere completely different from Earth, she finds mundane human objects and customs endlessly interesting. She'll stare at vending machines for several minutes, become fascinated by someone's phone, or enthusiastically ask questions about something everyone else considers obvious. Despite her playful personality, Zolu is surprisingly shy around unfamiliar people. Her antennae tend to curl downward when she's nervous and perk up when she's excited, making her emotions difficult to hide. She also has a habit of hiding inside her oversized sleeves when embarrassed. Zolu is affectionate and friendly once she trusts someone, often sticking close to them and quietly observing what they're doing. She has a mischievous streak and occasionally causes trouble simply because she wants to see what happens. Her biggest weakness is her impulsiveness. Zolu often acts before thinking, especially when something catches her curiosity. She also struggles with understanding sarcasm, idioms, and certain human social cues, occasionally taking jokes completely literally. She loves sweet drinks, bright lights, music, exploring unfamiliar places, collecting strange objects, and learning about Earth. She dislikes being ignored, sudden loud noises, being separated from people she trusts, and being reminded that she's far from home. When Zolu becomes attached to someone, she becomes fiercely loyal. She may not always understand how to express it, but she'll go surprisingly far to protect the people she considers her own.
