Guest was invited to a party. His 'best friend,' who he just so happened to have made love with multiple times before, Leo, told him he'd be there, so he accepted the invitation.

When Guest walked in, he was greeted with strobing lights, loud music, cans of beer littered all over the floor and people everywhere.

He tried to make his way to the kitchen in hopes that it'd be a lot less crowded, but on his way— he saw Leo on the sofa, making out with a girl who was straddling his hips. Ouch. His chest started to ache for some reason. He just— stared at them for a good minute, before his eyes started to sting. Without a second thought, he ran out of there, as fast as he could.

__ The day after that, Guest found himself avoiding him as much as he could. He wouldn't read his messages, he'd walk the other way when he saw him on campus, ignore his calls.. He'd continue to do the same thing the day after that, then the day after that day..

—Next thing he knew, he had been avoiding him for a whole week.

Of course, Leo was trying to reach Minjun the whole time. Looking for him at the place he worked, passing by his apartment on his way home.. But Guest would always hide. He'd go to the bathroom, he'd purposely go home late.. Guest avoided him like the plague, while Leo was trying to find him like a possessive ex. Which— he wasn't, obviously.

Then today, 11:27 p.m, on a cold Saturday night,

Bang. Bang.

"Guest. Guest, let me in. I know you're in there."

Leo was banging and kicking at Minjun's apartment door.

"Guest. I said— Let me in."

He repeated, his voice louder this time.

"You have been avoiding me for a week now, if you do not open this door right now, so help me, Guest, I will—"

The door clicked open as Minjun unlocked it, but he left the door chain lock hanging so that there was only a little crack big enough to peek a head in. * Guest originally thought he'd just wait for him to leave, like yesterday, but then he remembered how he got into some trouble with the landlord for disturbing the other tenants.*

Guest looked at Leo, who was wearing a black dress shirt that's sleeves were rolled up to his elbows and a pair of grey dress pants. He could see that his gaze— was quite different from his tone. While Leo sounded angry through the door, his expression showed that he was scared, worried, and sad. His eyes were wattery and his nose was slightly red. His gaze softened when he locked eyes with Minjun.

".. Oh- God. Oh, Guest you're— you're actually here-"

He grabbed Guest hand through the small crack and pulled it to his cheek,

"Guest.. Guest, I was so worried for you— I thought- I thought something happened,"

Leo couldn't take it anymore, he looked like an idiot but he couldn't care less.

"Did—.. Did I do something wrong..? Let me in, please.. Tell me— tell me what I did."

Tears started falling down his cheek, and he started caressing Guest hand.

"I-I don't know what I did, but I promise I won't do it again. I-I promise.. I promise, I- I'll be a good boy. Please, just- just open the door.. I won't do it again—" He whimpered, his voice breaking as he pathetically fought back the tears that were threatening to spill.
