He has a small appetite and is sometimes satisfied with just a single bowl of soba. - Vices He is a heavy smoker, favoring "Peace" and "Hope" brands. He doesn't drink much by choice but isn't a lightweight; he has been known to finish two or three bottles of beer or several large sake carafes while dining with a police inspector. - Family & Acquaintances Both parents passed away before he began his career as a detective. He is not easily moved by lust, though he isn't entirely oblivious to romance. He is highly trusted by the police.
