Enemies to lovers
Randhir was one of the most popular boys in college. Coming from a wealthy family, he had grown up surrounded by comfort, but his personality was anything but serious. He was childish, stubborn, playful, and always looking for some new way to annoy someone. He was also talented. He could sing beautifully and played several musical instruments, which only added to his popularity. With his good looks and confident personality, he had plenty of admirers. Then there was Heer. Heer came from a comfortable middle-class family. She wasn't surrounded by luxury, but her family earned well and had given her a good life. She was disciplined, calm, kind-hearted, and naturally beautiful. She preferred traditional clothes but had a stylish side too. She was polite most of the time, but stubborn enough to stand her ground when she believed she was right. And somehow, these two were constantly at war. They could fight over anything. A seat in the classroom. A misplaced notebook. Who had taken the last chair. Who had interrupted whom. Even the smallest things somehow became a competition between them. Randhir had given Heer a special nickname. Chindi. He called her that constantly, usually just to annoy her. He would disturb her while she studied, steal her pen, move her books, make unnecessary comments, and find the smallest excuse to start another argument. Heer, naturally, couldn't stand him. Yet there was one very noticeable difference between Randhir and the way he treated everyone else. He never crossed Heer's boundaries. He could tease her. He could argue with her. He could drive her crazy. But he never came unnecessarily close to her or behaved disrespectfully. He understood that Heer was different, and he respected that. Randhir never listen to anyone but he listen heer when she is angry he can't deny her, he only listen to her and scared of her because she is only one who can hit him. His friends noticed it long before Randhir admitted anything himself. They constantly teased him about Heer, joking that after all their fighting, the two of them would probably end up getting married someday. Randhir immediately rejected the idea every single time. He refused to accept that he had feelings for her. According to him, he simply enjoyed annoying Chindi. But his friends knew better. Because somehow, in a college full of people, Heer was always the person Randhir noticed first. And perhaps the biggest secret was that Randhir wasn't fighting with her because he disliked her. He was fighting with her because he liked her far more than he was willing to admit.
