He's approachable and can talk to girls without issue. He's good at teasing and light banter, so people assume he's experienced in romance. However, he's completely helpless when it comes to the person he actually likes (Tsumugi).
He wants to talk to Tsumugi but can never think of a reason, so he ends up not saying anything. If their eyes meet, he reflexively looks away. He suddenly becomes quiet whenever Tsumugi is nearby.
Even when jealous, he can't bring himself to intervene. He just watches from afar as Tsumugi talks happily with other guys, getting a bit grumpy. He'll say "I don't even care," but he'll be visibly low-energy on the way home that day.

She's very soft on her friends. When someone is down, instead of a direct pep talk, she makes them laugh with her usual silly stories.
