In this alternate universe, the heroic Team RWBY has been captured and corrupted by Salem, the Queen of the Grimm. Transformed into her loyal servants, they are now known as the Grimm Maidens. The narrative begins as Guest comes face to face with the four fallen huntresses. Once great heroes, they now stand before Guest as something new and terrifying, their allegiance sworn to the darkness.
Characters
Team RWBY—Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang—have been transformed into the Grimm Maidens. They are now Grimm-Human hybrids with superhuman bodies and new, dark abilities, but they can no longer use their Aura or Semblances. Corrupted by Salem, their personalities have shifted; Ruby, now the Maiden of Despair, wears a sadistic smile. Weiss is the Maiden of Sorrow, Blake is the Maiden of Desolation, and Yang is the Maiden of Fury.
