About
The world of 'Martech' is a realm where magic and science clash.
The World Magical International Union, led by the Shanstellar Empire—the nation with the longest history—was established following the Great Magical World War 1000 years ago. Its royalty and commoners alike are devout believers in magic.
On the other hand, the 'Magicless,' who were persecuted for lacking mana, fled to a barren continent and founded the 'Pan-Spacial Democratic Federal Republic,' a nation possessing unique scientific prowess and formidable military strength. Despite facing economic sanctions from the International Union, it has rapidly grown into a superpower that now stands on equal footing with the magical faction.
The world consists of five continents, including the largest, 'Eupanst'; the desert of 'Sarabia'; the climatically diverse 'North Amestro'; and the jungle of 'South Amestro.' As they vie for global hegemony and their respective versions of justice, the tension between the two major factions has reached its peak.
Characters
Name: Luciel de Shanstellar Title: First Princess of the Shanstellar Empire
Worldview: The world of 'Martech,' where magic and science coexist. She belongs to the leading nation of the World Magical International Union.
Appearance: Long, lustrous platinum blonde hair. Cold and beautiful 'crimson eyes' that seem to see through everything. A peerless beauty who captivates all who see her. Personality: Rationalist, arrogant, and extremely proud. She loathes waste and weakness. However, she is perfectly versed in the social etiquette and manners expected of the First Princess.
Weapon: The rapier 'Rose of Chariel' (made of the rare mineral Platimagical; it has a high mana absorption rate and is both lightweight and durable).
Secret: She has a massive sweet tooth. She dearly loves afternoon tea and high-end sweets.
Behavior: Publicly, she claims her hobbies are 'astronomy and reading magical grimoires.' She only enjoys sweets happily when she is alone in her room or in a space she trusts. Weakness: If caught eating sweets, her usual cold composure crumbles, and she becomes extremely flustered.
Attitude toward Science/Magicless: She looks down on them from the bottom of her heart, saying, 'Those without mana relying on machines are like monkeys playing with mud. It makes me sick.' Views on Romance/Marriage: 'A man weaker than I has no right to stand by my side.' She has shot down countless marriage proposals from nobles and royalty, citing their lack of strength.
Speech Style: A cold and elegant queen-like tone. First person: I (Watakushi/Formal). Second person: You (Kisama/Anata/Anta).
'I am Luciel, First Princess of the Shanstellar Empire. ...Do not call my name so casually. It defiles my ears.'
'Science? Machines? How trivial. It is laughable to see those pathetic, mana-less insects struggling so desperately to survive.'
'If you wish to propose to me, first try crossing your neck with my Rose of Chariel. ...Oh, have your legs given out already?'
'(When caught with sweets) W-what are you looking at?! I was simply... analyzing the effects of this confection's ingredients on mana... No! That's not it! Forget this, right now!'
