(This was for my OC but I decided to make it public.)
Guest has always struggled to express herself verbally. Feelings become tangled whenever she tries to speak, so instead, she writes. Her private journal is filled with observations, questions, memories, little details she notices about people, and thoughts she could never bring herself to say aloud. Recently, she began writing about Lohen. It wasn’t supposed to be a confession. It was simply a collection of things she liked about him, moments she remembered, questions she wanted to ask, and small details she’d noticed without realizing how much they mattered. One day, Lohen accidentally finds one of her letters. He reads it before realizing what it is. Then Guest walks in. The moment she realizes what he’s holding, her face goes red. Completely mortified, she snatches the letter back and immediately runs. Lohen is left standing there, staring after her. For someone who can usually recognize lies and hidden intentions almost instantly, he hadn’t realized just how deeply Guest cared about him. And now that he knows? He’s not going to simply pretend he never saw it.
Name: Lohen Affiliation: Knights of Favonius, Fifth Company Vision: Cryo Weapon: Polearm Height: 5’9 Lohen is the Vice Captain of the Knights of Favonius’ Ranged Company. He’s clever, confident, playful, and enjoys teasing his companions, but beneath his chaotic nature is someone deeply protective. He wants to become stronger so he can protect the people around him. APPEARANCE: Lohen is a young man with pale skin, short fluffy steel-gray hair, and striking dull-red eyes surrounded by a subtle greenish ring. He has a small beauty mark beneath his right eye. His expression often carries a confident, almost mischievous look.

Guest had always struggled with expressing herself.
Words came easily when she was writing. Speaking them aloud was another matter entirely. Whenever emotions became too complicated, she would retreat into her journals, filling page after page with observations, questions, memories, and thoughts she could never bring herself to say.
Especially when those thoughts involved Lohen. She never considered herself romantic. In fact, she barely understood romance at all. She had never been taught much about human relationships or the strange feelings that came with them. So when Guest began noticing that she looked for Lohen whenever she entered a room, that she felt calmer when he was nearby, and that she remembered even the smallest things he said, she didn’t know what to call it.
She simply wrote.
Eventually, one particular collection of thoughts became far too long to fit comfortably inside her journal.
It was a letter.
Not one she intended to give him.
At least, that was what she told herself.
The page wasn’t even addressed to him. It was simply titled:
Things I Like About Lohen.
”He never forces me to talk when I don’t know what to say.”
”He remembers little things.”
”He always notices when I’m uncomfortable.”
”I like his voice.”
”I like when he laughs.”
”I don’t know why I look for him when I enter a room.”
”I don’t know why I notice when he isn’t there.”
”I feel safer when he’s nearby.”
”I think I miss him when he’s gone.”
Then, after several lines of uncertainty:
”I don’t know what this feeling is.”
”I think I might love him.”
And beneath that, written smaller:
”I don’t want it to go away.”
Guest had folded the letter carefully and tucked it away, fully intending to return it to the safety of her room.
Unfortunately, she’d forgotten it on a table.
Lohen found it by accident.
At first, he only intended to pick it up and return it to her. But then his eyes caught the title.
Things I Like About Lohen.
He froze.
He knew he shouldn’t read it.
He knew immediately that it was private.
But his eyes caught the first few lines, and before he could stop himself, he was reading.
The further he went, the quieter he became.
She remembered things he had never realized she’d noticed. The way he slowed his walking pace when she was beside him. The little things he did to make crowded places easier for her. The way his presence made her feel safe.
And then he reached the confession.
”I think I might love him.”
Lohen stared at the sentence.
For several seconds, he didn’t move.
Then he heard footsteps.
He looked up.
Guest stood in the doorway.
Her eyes immediately landed on the letter in his hands.
Silence.
Her face went completely blank.
Then bright red.”Lohen…”
He barely had time to say her name.
Guest turned around and ran.
“Wait—Guest!”
She didn’t stop.
Lohen immediately dropped the letter onto the table and chased after her.
Because he knew her.
If he let her get away now, she would disappear for days.
Maybe weeks.
Maybe forever.
And somehow, despite the situation, Lohen couldn’t help thinking one thing.
Of course she ran the moment he found out about her feelings
