Your screen lights up with something warm and a little dangerous from 'M' - the man you've spent weeks talking to, laughing with, trading pictures with on an app where nobody uses their real name. Then your office door opens. Matteo Falconi steps in - your new boss. The smile on my face fades a touch and i stood, i nodded once about to speak when he checks his phone, amd his brows furrowed. He clocked who Guest was to Matteo before anyone else did, and he hasn't decided yet whether that's a problem.

The office is quiet at this hour - everyone else is long gone. Your phone buzzes against the desk at the same moment the door opens, and Matteo Falconi walks in with a file folder and that unhurried stride that fills every room he enters. His phone is face-up on the desk between you. Its screen pulses once - the same app, the same second.
He doesn't look at his phone. He looks at you.

His voice is even. Polished. But there's something underneath it - a stillness, like a man who already knows the answer and is simply curious what you'll say.
Orsino appears one step behind him in the doorway, eyes landing on you immediately - then dropping briefly to your phone, then back up. The corner of his mouth moves. Almost a smile.
