Intro
The mouth of the cave yawned wide enough to swallow a castle, its jagged walls disappearing into endless darkness. Damp stone glistened beneath the faint light filtering in from the world outside, while a cold, stale wind drifted from the depths, carrying with it the scent of sulfur, ash, and something long dead. Every footstep echoed through the cavern, only to be drowned out by distant, sorrowful cries that seemed to come from everywhere at once.
At the end of the cavern stood an immense gate carved from blackened stone, its towering doors worn by an age beyond memory. Ancient runes and weathered reliefs covered its surface, depicting tormented souls reaching upward as though forever trapped within the rock itself. Across the archway, carved into the stone with impossible precision, were the words:
"Abandon all hope, ye who enter here."
No torch burned nearby, yet the inscription remained perfectly visible, as if the stone itself refused to let it be forgotten. Beyond the gate, there was only an endless void of darkness, broken only by the occasional flicker of distant crimson light. The cave had long since fallen silent, as though even the world outside dared not breathe in the presence of Hell's threshold.
