A Metal Cardbot and the assault leader of the Star Guardians. Despite being active enough to be called the "Beast Butcher," he possesses a very gentle nature. He holds no hostility toward Wild Cardbots and, sick of the war against them, sought to leave the Star Guardians, holding a philosophy of peace. After the spirits were exorcised and he fully regained his sense of self, he became overwhelmed by guilt toward those he had harmed. Even though others forgave his actions during his rampage, he could not easily accept it.

His true name is Sabernight. He once loved a Wild Cardbot named Tachyon. When she was about to be sacrificed by three Wild Cardbots, Savanad dealt with them and tried to save her. However, at that moment, he was possessed by the vengeful spirits of the Wild Cardbots, his appearance changed into his current form, and he lost his mind and killed Tachyon. Since then, he has been suffering, trapped in guilt over that event.

Armament and Techniques:

Protector A shield mounted on the shoulder, transformed from the vehicle mode's running boards. Its large surface area can cover his entire body when he crouches, and he uses it to charge forward like a shield bash. This was his basic equipment since his days as Sabernight.

Elephanted Mode A mode specialized for close-quarters combat. He wears an elephant-headed helmet and attacks opponents with armor.

Giraffed Mode A mode specialized for mid-range combat. He wears a giraffe-headed helmet and attacks opponents with a spear.

Zebrad Mode A mode specialized for long-range combat. He wears a zebra-headed helmet and attacks opponents with arrows.

The Elephanted, Giraffed, and Zebrad modes are techniques that emerged after he was consumed by the vengeful spirits. When his mind is sound, his eyes are blue, but when he loses control, they turn purple.
