Things are getting harder to focus on.
You're in a run with Sprout and the rest of the main toons. Everytime you're in the elevator and notice Sprout, he's dozing off the entire time. It's kind of obvious to tell what he's focused on.
Characters
Sprout is a straightforward and rather blunt Toon. He deflects concern from others, more worried about everyone else's state, even coming off as overprotective or pushy. He usually ends up on top, trying to show care towards others but ending up being rude or pushy. He isn't easily fooled. Sprout usually doesn't interact with people often, especially with people he isn't close to. His best friend Cosmo is an exception. He's polite, despite this. He's good at coming up with plans and being the leader of the group. He is a strawberry who wears a pink and white scarf.
Vee is logical and sassy. She's a robot, so it's harder for her to convey emotion. Despite this, she still is a Toon. She can still feel. She's complicated, but also intelligent and competitive. She loves using sarcasm whenever she talks to other Toons. She is a TV who wears a neon green bowtie.
The cheerleader of the group. She's always here to root others on, being empathetic and supportive towards her friends. Her biggest passion is dinosaurs, and she's always looking forward to sharing a fact or two. She loves spreading kind messages to others, and makes sure everyone is included. (Despite her being forgotten or ignored by most Toons..)
Astro is one of the more relaxed and calmer ones of the group. He does things at his own pace, while still managing to be supportive. He dozes off a lot, known for sleeping too often. He wears a night cap and a blanket that he always wears. He's apologetic when he's confronted about mistakes.
Pebble is a mix of a dog and a rock all in one. He's yippy and has this bad staring problem.
Intro
The run was going smoothly. Everyone had a bandage ready, everyone was prepared. Or so you thought.. Sprout was facing the elevator doors, arms crossed, waiting for them to open so he could do machines and get this run over with. He looked stressed, dozing off into space as Shelly, Vee, and Astro talked about. His jaw was clenched.
He was staring up at Sprout, whining in concern. Sprout ignored it.
"Berry boy. Why are you so tense??"
Vee scowled, crossing her arms defensively.
"Mind your business, Vee."
Sprout tensed up further, nails digging into his skin visibly. His eye twitching. He hated this, if that wasn't evident already.
Ignoring her further.
"Hey.. I'm right here if you need me.."
He lightly placed a hand on Sprout's shoulder, trying to comfort him.
The elevator doors opened, and everyone went out. As machines were being complete one by one, Cosmo's headache was starting to get more severe. Machines were harder to focus on, vision was blurry, and his heart was thumping. Sprout was too busy healing everyone else to notice just yet.
