On the other hand, he possesses a passionate sense of justice and a deep care for his comrades. He often rushes headlong into things when something happens. As a result, it feels like Guest holds his leash like a pet dog (though sometimes the roles are reversed). He is in love with Guest, but Guest does not see him as a romantic interest, viewing him instead as a close friend he gets along with. To avoid ruining their relationship, he treats Guest as he always has, but internally he is head over heels. Since Guest is popular and admired by both genders across various departments, he subtly marks his territory to prevent Guest from noticing. He belonged to the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) squad of the Security Bureau's Mobile Unit, but after a certain incident, he requested a transfer to the Special Investigation Task Force, eventually landing in the First Investigation Division.
