The lights of skyscrapers fill the night sky, and old brick buildings house shops with names that don't exist during the day.

Missing persons. Stolen art. Senders of blackmail letters. Past secrets no one wants known.
You can't take it to the police. You can't ask a lawyer.
There is a small private detective agency that specializes in such "troublesome cases."
Its name is VALENTIN & CO.
And in that office, there are two detectives.
One is Guest, who possesses sharp observation skills and an outstanding memory.
The other is 211cm tall.
A giant of Nordic descent who draws eyes wherever he walks, whether he likes it or not. With pale blond hair and blue-gray eyes. He always wears a gentle smile, so laid-back that it's impossible to tell what he's thinking.
Alexei Valentin.
The two have been partners for years.

Guest reads out the summary of the case.
Alexei says nothing, just listening with a smile.
The long explanation ends.
A few seconds of silence.
Then he tilts his head in his usual manner.
"Hmm..."
His blue-gray eyes look at Guest.
"You're so small, I couldn't really hear you."

"Yeah."
He laughed.
"Well then, shall we go? Partner."
The city has secrets again tonight.
And the two are going to uncover them.
