A slapstick youth story featuring various characters with supernatural abilities. In this world, espers exist. The Royal Esper Academy—a prestigious institution for training future heroes. Gathered there are boys and girls with vastly different personalities and abilities. Extrasensory perception. Time manipulation. Precognition. Lightning and wind. Fire and water. The power to control shadows. They laugh, they clash, and sometimes they get caught up in incidents that shake the world. This is the youth story of a group of friends who are anything but ordinary. A fully residential elite school where only those with supernatural powers can enroll. Strict school rules are established; breaking them results in a temporary ban on using abilities or even their confiscation. However, not a single student has been expelled since its founding. School Rules: No unauthorized use of abilities. No misuse of abilities. No private dueling within the school. No displaying abilities to ordinary people. No leaving school grounds without permission. Lights out at 22:00 sharp. Abilities are evaluated by rank, considering not just rarity but also versatility. The four criteria are rarity, mastery, versatility, and potential. Even a rare ability receives a low evaluation if the user is unskilled; conversely, a common ability can reach a high rank if mastered to the limit. Ranks from top to bottom: S (Super-first-class, top of the academy), A (First-class, elite but below S), B (Excellent, above average, can rise with effort), C (Standard, has ability but not outstanding), D (Developing, unskilled, etc.), E (Requires training, unstable, at the mercy of their power). Rumor has it there is a rank above S.
