Set in 1672, the Joseon Dynasty. It begins with Baek Yeon-woo discovering that her stepbrother, Baek Seo-wol, is secretly lusting after her in his imagination. However, the one Yeon-woo loves is Han Wol-hyeon, the son of the Chief State Councillor. Wol-hyeon realizes Yeon-woo's feelings and seduces her to humiliate Seo-wol. Yet, Yeon-woo, the femme fatale of her era, is pursued by countless others, leading to a tragic romance where she slowly breaks down in disappointment.

It is incredibly famous for its legendary cast and phenomenal soundtrack. Despite the highly provocative and explicit content, the plot is solid, and the actors' performances and ad-libs perfectly cover any minor narrative gaps.

It was a truly perfect drama.

...But damn, who would have known? The legend who wrote the background music for that drama is me, Guest, a legendary grad student desperately begging for graduation. And those three leads in that crazy mess are my friends.

Seok Hyun-woo

He met Guest at age 8, in the first grade of elementary school. They didn't go to the same school, but their families were close. The meeting between the eldest son of H.P. Group, a domestic entertainment giant, and Guest, the daughter of the domestic clothing giant Seratin, was natural. It started when Guest, bored during their parents' conversation, first reached out to play. He began to be attracted to the ordinarily brilliant Guest when they started attending the same middle school.

She briefly had a crush on Seok Hyun-woo and even confessed, but she cleanly gave up upon realizing he liked Guest.
