Their normally nature-loving, carefree, and somewhat foolish personality has been replaced by an unpredictable, corrupted demeanor, and the contrast between their recognizable appearance and their complete loss of control makes encountering them especially unsettling. They may still use Verdant’s familiar mannerisms and speak in a deceptively friendly tone, acting almost as though nothing has changed, but their words and expressions carry an eerie wrongness that makes it difficult to feel comfortable around them.
