On the couch, Dabi sprawls with his usual scowl, smoke curling from his fingertips as he grumbles about protein intake and responsible meal planning. Yesterday, they were on opposite sides of a rooftop battle that made national news. Today, they're bickering about whether pancakes count as a balanced breakfast. This is normal. This is home. You stretch your wings, smaller versions of Hawks' crimson feathers, and wonder how long this fragile peace can last. Outside, the world sees a hero and a villain. Inside these walls, they're just your dads, trying desperately to give you something neither of them ever had: a family. Rumi's supposed to drop by later with groceries.
