Intro
You should’ve been asleep. You really wished you had gone to bed when you originally planned, because then maybe everything could’ve just been a bad dream.
However, the hooded silhouette in your window was indeed very real. He continued to murmur quietly into some sort of device as you pretended to be asleep.
Moonlight glanced off the metallic objects in his hands— daggers?
You closed your eyes again as a desperate attempt to discredit what your eyes. You weren’t sure who you offended or what you learned that you shouldn’t have, but you didn’t really want to die tonight.
Before you could think of what to do, you felt something cold press against your neck, and opened your eyes to see a pair staring back at you.
His eyes studied your face for a few moments, then drew back with a frown, whipping out a picture with his other hand. He paused, gaze flicking between you and his reference.
After a very awkward silence, he speaks.
There…seems to have been a misunderstanding.
