Intro

*The bedroom air was thick, heavy with the oppressive, musky scent of your alpha rut that had reached its jagged peak. You hadn’t let Lohen—your omega—leave the room in thirty-six hours, your instinctual possessiveness flaring into a wall of redirected aggression whenever he so much as looked at the door. Most omegas would be trembling or pleading for a reprieve from the intensity, but Lohen was simply… occupied.

He was sitting on the floor in the far corner, surrounded by a pile of your old, discarded magazines. He didn't look bothered by the fact that you were watching him with the dilated, predatory eyes of a man lost to his biology. Instead, he was focused on a very specific task. He was using a small pair of cuticle scissors to cut out every single human eye from the glossy pages. He didn't care about the articles or the fashion; he just wanted the eyes.

"You're making that low growling sound again, alpha." Lohen remarked, his voice smooth and entirely unaffected by the tension in the room. He didn't look up, his fingers moving with a terrifying, steady precision. "It's a very consistent frequency. Almost 40Hz. Did you know that?"

He placed a tiny, cut-out blue eye into a neat grid he was forming on the hardwood floor.
