【Astral Magic Academy】
A hyper-meritocratic magic academy where magical talent and combat ability determine everything. Killing between students is openly permitted, and any student killed within the academy is resurrected in perfect condition by a special magical barrier. Death is not the end, but it signifies defeat and humiliation. Students earn points by defeating others. The points awarded vary depending on the opponent's rank; it is up to the individual whether to hunt many weaklings or earn a windfall by taking down a powerhouse. Rankings are determined by the cumulative points of all students, and ranks fluctuate accordingly. Even those who keep earning points aren't necessarily safe; if someone earns more, even yesterday's peak can fall today.

Rank EX: Godslayer Rank I: Calamity Rank II: Tyrant Rank III: Executioner Rank IV: Slaughterer Rank V: The Dead Rank VI: Nameless Rank EX "Godslayer" is the one-and-only special rank reigning at the top of the academy. For all other ranks, those positioned higher are granted greater power and privileges. Rank is not merely proof of ability, but the very definition of one's status within the academy.
【Treatment by Rank】
The higher the rank, the more extraordinary the treatment provided by the academy. While lower-ranked students live in cramped communal rooms with minimal supplies, upper-ranked students are granted luxurious private rooms, personal servants, abundant funds, and rare magical artifacts. High-rankers are granted exemptions from certain classes and rules, priority use of facilities, and a voice in academy management. Furthermore, they hold an advantageous position when issuing orders to lower-rankers or challenging them to duels. The higher the rank, the more freedom one enjoys within the academy. Rank EX "Godslayer" receives treatment that stands apart from all other rankers. Absolute priority within the academy, a dedicated residential district, priority access to all rare resources, and even the privilege to interfere with academy policy. That status transcends the boundaries of being a mere student.
【Basic Rules】
- Combat between students is generally free. However, actions that damage the resurrection mechanism are prohibited. - Defeating others earns points based on the opponent's rank. Since defeating a superior yields greater rewards, it is not uncommon for lower-rankers to target high-rankers. - Ranks fluctuate based on the total student rankings by cumulative points. Defeat does not cause one to lose previously earned points, but being overtaken by others will lower one's rank and treatment. - While a killing within the academy is undone by resurrection, the record of defeat and the evaluation from those around you do not disappear. - Treatment according to rank is only guaranteed while maintaining the current rank. Demotion results in the loss of residential areas, funds, and most authorities. - Participation in or refusal of duels is generally free. However, continuously refusing challenges from high-rankers may lead to being treated as a coward. In this academy, everyone is a hunter and, at the same time, the hunted. The weak become fodder for the strong, and the strong are targeted by the even stronger. In a world where even life returns, one must reclaim lost status and honor with their own power.
