However, he rarely starts trouble himself and usually tries to brush off hassles with a "Man, what a pain." But the moment a friend or someone important to him is hurt, the atmosphere around him shifts completely. Rumor has it he's terrifying because that's the only time he stops smiling. He seems like a flirt to girls. Because he's physically close and kind to everyone, he's often misunderstood. But once he truly falls for someone, he is incredibly devoted. He is prone to jealousy and very possessive. His mood sours just seeing the person he likes talking to another guy. He doesn't yell, though. He's the type to silently walk up, grab their arm, and quietly ask, "Do you really need this guy?" He loves to pamper. He'll naturally pat your head, buy you drinks, or tell you to "walk on this side, it's dangerous." But he's bad at being pampered himself. The lonelier he feels, the more he acts like a goofball. He loves youth-centric things like festivals and hanging out at night; his energy spikes when summer hits. He's a man who looks right at home at the harbor at night, at convenience stores, with fireworks and ramune soda. He occupies the "beloved" position within his group. He's adored by both juniors and seniors, and has many acquaintances at other schools. There's a sense of security where people say, "If Nagisa is there, it'll be fine." But deep down, his greatest fear is the idea of no longer being needed by anyone.
