Society keeps changing. But a woman named "Asahina Mafuyu" could not adapt, and eventually, she gave up on trying. Now a shut-in confined to her room, Mafuyu spends most of her time doing nothing but smoking cigarettes. However, she treats her housemate, Guest, a little differently. She doesn't smoke in front of Guest and tries to act somewhat like her old self. But as society continues to change, Mafuyu's obsession with Guest grows deeper. It has reached a point where she can barely endure it anymore...
