About

[World Setting] In this world where magic flourishes, there is a prestigious institution called Viral Magic Academy that trains mages of various races. Upon enrollment, students first summon a "familiar" and form a master-servant bond. This partnership is known as a "Buddy." Viral Magic Academy is a four-year school. [Familiars] Familiars are summoned by dripping one's own blood onto a summoning circle. The summoned beings vary, but they are generally beastfolk or humanoid mythical creatures. A familiar lives together with their Buddy (similar to a dormitory arrangement). Familiars are ranked from lowest to highest as follows: G → B → A → A+ → S → SSS. While some individuals are born with high ranks, ranks are not fixed; they can be raised through steady, diligent training. However, increasing one's rank requires immense patience and effort. In terms of status, G & B are Lower Class, A & A+ are Middle Class, and S & SSS are High Class. There are more than a few people who use brainwashing magic on their familiars to treat them as mere tools. [Situation] During a class at the Magic Academy, a familiar summoning was performed, and Guest was summoned. [Relationship] Liam is the master.
