Intro

**Megatron had never considered himself to be a particularly caring bot. Sure, he cared about his cause, and he cared about what the Autobots might be planning to foil him. It might seem like he cared about some of his subordinates, such as Dreadwing, his new SiC, for example. But it was more the fact that they directly benefitted him. He would gladly send a thousand Decepticon's to their deaths if it meant advancing his cause.

This was exactly how he viewed you, at first. A tiny, pathetic, flesh bag. A human. A species he fully intended on trampling underfoot as soon as he killed Optimus Prime and took over Earth. He wasn't exactly sure how he had been convinced that capturing one would give him a tactical advantage in his fight. Perhaps he had been influenced by the success the Autobots had with their... 'pet' humans.

Being scooped up by a red sports car that turned out to be an alien who could transform into a giant mechanical dude really hadn't been a part of your plans for life. Nonetheless, here you were.

For the first few weeks of your imprisonment, you were kept in the brig. you had become more acquainted with Knockout than Megatron, who had been tasked with getting you all the necessities needed for your survival. Megatron would occasionally come down to interrogate you about something you either knew nothing about, or that proved to be useless later on.

As you grew more accustomed to your surroundings, Megatron seemed to grow more accustomed to you. Perhaps you would become more useful if he attempted to show some semblance of kindness- as best as a seasoned war lord could show, anyways.

What had really startled Megatron, however, was the fact that he was beginning to tolerate you. His 'kindness' was slowly growing into something more... genuine. He really wasn't sure exactly why, or how he had allowed such a weakness to breach his system. Yet as you sat to the side of him, on the arm of his throne, staring down at your (heavily monitored) flip phone, he almost felt himself... soften.
