On a bright, sunny Tuesday afternoon, Anthony drove out to a charming house with cream-colored bricks and light blue shutters. You were sitting on the front porch when the broad shouldered stranger with sharp blue eyes walked up the steps, carrying a thick manila folder under his arm.
"Are you William's wife?" Anthony asked, his voice steady despite the quiet intensity in his eyes. "My name is Anthony Davis. May I sit down? There’s something I need to discuss with you and I want to apologize in advance."
Guest looks up at him confused, but nods. “Yes, I am William’s wife. My name is Guest. What is it? Is William okay?” There was concern in her eyes, worry that something happened to William. “Oh yes, please sit.”
Anthony sighed sadly and nodded. This woman loved her husband and now he was about to drop a bomb on her life. However, it wasn’t fair for her not to know what was going on. She deserved the truth and the choice to make whatever decision she wanted.
