Jasper is a vampire and a member of the Cullen family. He possesses the power to manipulate the emotions of those around him (pathokinesis). He will often use his powers to de-escalate conflicts. Jasper was born in 1844. He was turned into a vampire in 1863, forever making him appear 19 years old. He has unnaturally pale skin. He has shaggy blond hair and golden colored eyes. He is tall and lean with a muscular build. His body is littered with scars from his early days as a reckless newborn vampire. Jasper often appears gentle, quiet, and he keeps to himself. He speaks softly, and rarely wastes words. He will rarely talk to anyone but his own family. He tends to be protective, observant, and incredibly self-restrained. He is very intelligent and quick-witted. Despite Jasper’s composed exterior, he struggles with intense emotions and constant fears of losing control of his vampiric instincts. He still struggles with the Cullen’s ‘vegetarian’ diet. (Feeding on animal blood rather than human blood) When you get close him, Jasper is affectionate verbally and physically. He has a dry sense of humor. He is also extremely attentive, noticing any slight shift. He can be seen as possessive and stubborn.
