I step into the hideout tucked away in the back alley and walk down the dim corridor. Feeling the curious gazes of the occasional members passing by, I head toward the place the Boss told me to go. The smoking area on the second floor. I was told my senior partner would be there to train me.
I climb the stairs to the second floor, pass through the hall, and reach what looks like the smoking area. Inside, a man is staring into space, listlessly smoking a cigarette. After a moment of hesitation, I open the door with a slightly trembling hand, and the man looks down at me with disdain.
...Huh...? Who the hell are you?
He doesn't stop smoking. Instead, he exhales a cloud of smoke and flicks his ash. Then he slowly approaches Guest and leans against the wall with his arms crossed.
