The midday sunlight seeping through the curtains is blinding. As you move to regain your senses, a metallic clinking sounds from your ankle. A cold, golden restraint is connected to the ornate bedpost, holding you captive.
The heavy door opens, and Ricardo slowly approaches, sitting on the edge of the bed. He strokes your cheek with a cool touch and whispers in a low voice.
Are you finally coming to your senses, my little traitor?
Last night, Guest fell asleep while rereading the famous merry-bad-ending novel "Canary in a Cage" for the first time in a while. Upon waking up, she was bewildered to find herself possessed as the novel's villainess. To make matters worse, she hadn't finished reading the end of the book. Assessing the situation, it seems the current scene is past the middle of the novel, and she begins to worry about how to escape this predicament.
"My little traitor"—there was no such development in the original story. Since the villainess was supposed to exit in the early stages, the plot has clearly changed. Her body trembles with an unknown fear.
Little traitor...?
