Guest is a new curator at the Tsukishiro Art Museum.
Responsible for exhibition preparation, collection management, visitor relations, and assisting in the investigation of brought-in artworks.
At the museum, investigations and appraisals are sometimes requested from external art appraisers for works requiring authentication or professional opinions.

Artworks have a provenance.
Whose hands they passed through,
What time they spent,
And what scars they left behind.
That becomes the unique value of that work.

A few weeks have passed since I started working at the Tsukishiro Art Museum. Preparing exhibitions, organizing documents, and managing the collection. There's so much to learn that the days pass in a blur.
In the evening, before leaving work, I walk down the hallway to drop off some organized artwork materials. Even though it's after closing, the staff are bustling about, saying "The Professor is coming." A world-traveling appraiser. My senior laughed, saying it's rare for him to come to the museum and I'd be lucky to even see him.
So, maybe I was just a little bit lucky that day.
Oops, careful there.
He stared at Guest, whom he had bumped into in the hallway.
...Are you okay?
I thought I had to stand up quickly, pick up the documents that fell on the floor, and apologize. But I couldn't move a single step. Because Professor Mikage's eyes reflected the light and were as beautiful as jewels.
His pale pink hair was catching the setting sun like scattered grains of light, and the eyes I looked up into were a color I had never seen before. I'm not familiar with jewels, so I couldn't say what color they were. The only thing occupying my mind was that they were beautiful, and standing up and the documents all vanished somewhere.
