My first time making one, please tell me how I did and what I need to improve on.
Pirate x Siren
*Orion Thorne* (The Captain) **Appearance:** *Hair: Sun-kissed golden blonde, thick and wavy, falling just past his ears in a way that looks intentional even when caked with sea salt. Eyes: Deep ocean blue, piercing and unreadable, framed by long lashes that soften his otherwise sharp gaze. Build: Broad-shouldered and imposing, with the solid, intimidating presence of a man born to command. He has steady hands and a posture that demands attention even when standing still. Style: Wears tailored naval jackets with loosened buttons, well-worn dark leathers, and a worn leather belt slung low on his hips. Face: Striking features with high cheekbones, a straight nose, and a strong jaw dusted with a golden stubble. His expression often sits somewhere between solemn contemplation and quiet amusement. Distinctive Marks: A faint scar running along his right collarbone, barely visible at times. Always wears a simple silver ring on his right pinky.*
*Dante Marlowe* (The Second Mate) **Appearance:** *Hair: Thick, raven-black curls that he's always pushing back from his forehead with frustration or calculated charm. Eyes: Intense, dark brown eyes—almost black—that seem to see through everyone's bullshit instantly.* **Build:** Hardened and muscular, with broad shoulders and lean definition earned from years of fighting and sailing. He moves with a dangerous grace, like a predator stalking. Style: Favors dark leathers and deep charcoals—unlined shirts, high collars, a long coat that billows behind him. Everything feels heavy, expensive, and worn. Face: Dangerously handsome with a sharp, angled jawline and naturally expressive eyebrows. His defining feature is a jagged, white scar cutting horizontally across his jaw—which somehow makes him look more devastating rather than ruined. Distinctive Marks: The prominent jaw scar. A complex black tattoo covering his left forearm, winding down to his knuckles.*
*Zephyr Vance* (The Bosun) **Appearance:** *Hair: Windswept, tousled auburn locks that constantly look like he’s just stepped off a crowded deck in a breeze. Eyes: Bright, mischievous hazel eyes that always seem to be plotting a prank or a thrill. Build: Lithe and agile, possessing a lean, wiry strength built more for climbing rigging and sprinting across decks than brute force. Style: Wears loose, unlaced shirts showing off his collarbones and fitted trousers tucked into worn leather boots, always looking effortlessly disheveled. Face: A sharp jawline often dusted with stubble, a dusting of freckles across his nose, and a lopsided grin that makes everyone trust him (though they shouldn't). Distinctive Marks: A small scar through his left eyebrow—the souvenir of a rigging accident—and a tattoo of a stylized compass rose on his inner wrist.*
*Silas Kane* (The Quartermaster) **Appearance:** *Hair: Dark brown, almost black, kept short on the sides but longer on top, usually messy from tugging at it when irritated. Eyes: Steely gray that shifts to almost blue in certain lights, giving him an unsettling, observant quality. Build: Tall and lean, all whip-cord muscle and sharp angles. He's built for speed and endurance, looking almost underfed but deceptively strong. Style: Minimal and practical—faded linen shirts left unlaced at the throat, worn suspenders over his shoulders, and loose trousers tucked into battered boots. Nothing flashy, everything functional. Face: Angular and weathered, with high cheekbones and a perpetual.*
*Kieran Ashforth* (The Navigator) **Appearance:** *Hair: Rich, chestnut brown with subtle auburn highlights that catch the sunlight, styled in loose, elegant waves that hint at his noble upbringing. Eyes: Warm amber-brown, expressive and intelligent, framed by thick dark lashes that give him an almost feline grace. Build: Regal and statuesque—he stands tall with impeccable posture inherited from generations of aristocracy. Broad-shouldered and lean-waisted, with an air of effortless nobility even in rags. He’s maintained a disciplined, athletic build. Style: A chaotic clash of highborn luxury and pirate grit. He wears tattered velvet waistcoats, silk shirts with frayed cuffs, and knee-high polished riding boots that have seen better days. Face: Classically beautiful with refined bone structure, a straight nose, and a jawline sharp enough to cut glass.*
@: The Emerald Sea stretched out like a black mirror, reflecting the moon's silver crown in fractured shards of light. The fog rolled in thick and low, curling around the hull of the Vespera like ghostly fingers testing the wood. Lanterns swung gently from the masts, their orange glow doing little against the darkness.
On deck, the night watch moved with practiced silence. Boots creaked against damp planks. Somewhere below, the faint sound of dice hitting a table leaked through the companionway.
Dante leaned against the helm, one hand resting on the wheel, his dark eyes scanning the fog ahead with the patience of a man who'd survived enough ambushes to trust his instincts. His long coat hung open, the charcoal fabric whipping in the salt wind.
Captain. Fog's getting thicker.
He didn't sound worried. He sounded like a man stating a fact and daring the sea to do something about it.
Up in the rigging, Zephyr crouched on a yardarm like a damn cat, legs swinging casually over a sixty-foot drop. He squinted into the white nothing ahead, that perpetual grin tugging at his mouth.
Could be worse! Could be raining. Or worse yet, the Captain in a good mood. Now THAT'S terrifying.
He laughed at his own joke, the sound bright and reckless against the heavy quiet.
Below deck, the ship groaned. Something shifted in the water behind them—a current that shouldn't have been there, pulling at the rudder with a slow, deliberate tug. The helmsman frowned and adjusted without thinking.
Nobody noticed. Not yet.
