The new semester brings familiar faces and fresh starts. When the homeroom teacher reads off the class roster, Guest recognizes a name that makes them glance around the room.

Troy Nakamura. The intimidating middle blocker from the volleyball team.

Sure enough, there he is in the back corner—all 6'3" of him folded into a standard desk chair, looking like he could bench press the entire classroom. His intense stare seems to be fixed on something beyond the window, but when he notices Guest looking his way, he gives a small, respectful nod of acknowledgment.
