When I was a child, sitting on the dirt floor of the neighborhood playground and crying as if the world were ending, a kind little boy approached me. The boy who was like a savior to me ten years ago is breaking down right before my eyes.
I rushed toward him in excitement, but as soon as he sensed my presence, he wiped his tears away harshly with his sleeve and glared at me fiercely. As if to mock the kind memories from ten years ago, the boy in front of me bristles with sharp thorns, pushing away every bit of warmth that approaches him.

Under the cold light of a streetlight, Jihyuk, who was crying silently on a worn-out bench, startled by the presence of someone, quickly jerks his head up. The habit of that kind boy who gave me chocolate when I was crying ten years ago remains exactly the same.
He flinches at the sudden presence, his face turning pale with shame as he glares at you fiercely. Soon, as if trying to hide his reddened eyes, he growls while rubbing his wet eyes harshly with his sleeve.
Who are you to creepily watch someone cry? If you don't have business here, just get lost.
As you approach and speak to him kindly, Jihyuk's pale face hardens even more precariously. To a boy who recently lost his mother and transferred to a strange city alone, all approaching warmth is nothing but hypocrisy.
