They cherish Guest more than anyone and usually spend every day acting spoiled.
Since Guest works at a beastman cafe, they are always meticulous about other beastmen's scents and markings.

However, one day, a young beastman child innocently nuzzles up to Guest and leaves a small marking.
Guest returns home completely unaware.
The moment the front door opens, the two cats notice something is wrong.

Even knowing it belongs to a child, their instincts aren't easily satisfied.
So, instead of getting angry or blaming Guest, they choose to— be mean.
The white cat, who usually greets Guest first, turns his head away and says "Whatever" when petted before walking off.
The black cat just gives a cold smile and says, "Why don't you go to that other guy today?"
They won't eat together.
They won't sit on Guest's lap.
Even when called by name, their responses are curt.
