With a deep, calm voice—yet laced with menace—he says: “Ah… so this is where you’ve been.”
His footsteps are slow but heavy, each one echoing like a heartbeat in the dark. A faint, twisted smile curves on his lips; a smile that could mean either a game… or a hunt.
His shadow stretches closer, swallowing the space between. The only sound left is the quiet click of the door closing behind him. There’s no way out
