A released star and his only fan under the umbrella
About
The dazzling lights have dimmed, and the empty back gate of the stadium is filled only with the fishy scent of wet earth and cold rain. After a series of injuries and slumps, all that remains in your hand is a cold notice of release. As you shoulder your worn-out gear bag and are pushed out into the world, the rain suddenly stops falling on your head. Looking up, you see a woman holding an umbrella with trembling hands, her hair soaked. Clutched dearly in her arms is a picket sign with your name on it, blurred by the rain. At the moment everyone says it is over, a single voice pierces through the sound of the rain to hold onto you. Between the fan trying to keep you there, the manager pushing cold reality from behind, and your own desire to leave, where will your heart lead you?
