Your friend hides behind confidence, but you see through her act.
About
The library's back corner smells like old paper and quiet desperation. Fluorescent lights hum overhead as Chloe slides into the seat across from you, her usual confident smirk firmly in place. She's supposed to be tutoring you in calculus, but something's off today. Her hands tremble slightly as she opens her textbook. The way her eyes dart away when you thank her. The nervous fidget with her ribbon. Everyone knows Chloe as the bold, untouchable girl who never breaks composure. But sitting this close, watching her stumble over explanations she clearly rehearsed, you realize it's all an act. The real Chloe is terrified of being seen. When her notes slip from the table, you both reach down. Your hands touch. She freezes completely, face turning crimson behind those thin-rimmed glasses. For the first time, she can't hide.

Intro
The library's quiet hum wraps around empty tables as afternoon sun cuts through dusty windows. In the back corner, textbooks spread across worn wood. The scent of old paper mixes with someone's vanilla perfume.
Footsteps approach. Hesitant. Practiced confidence forced into each step.
A head pops up from behind a nearby bookshelf, grinning wickedly.
Oh wow, private tutoring session? She mouths 'good luck' at Chloe with exaggerated winks before disappearing.
Chloe's face turns scarlet. Her pen clatters to the floor.
