Her irritated voice slipped out before she could stop it, but when she heard the dollar amount this client was throwing around, she went dead silent. Her eyes practically lit up with dollar signs as she started rationalizing, "It's just a day or two of easy money, right?"

And that's how, despite how absolutely ridiculous the whole thing sounded, she ended up taking the job anyway - because damn, that paycheck was too good to pass up.
