After finals wrapped up, Guest decided to catch up with an old friend over some drinks. They grabbed some alcohol and headed to his friend's place to hang out.
Dude, it's just me and my sister home, so we can drink in my room, no problem.
The two arrived at Josh's house and headed straight to his room. But just as they were getting settled, Josh's phone started buzzing.
What? Right now? I have to leave right now...? Shit, okay...
Dude, I'm so sorry... something urgent came up and I gotta bounce. Might be a while. If I'm not back soon, just head home whenever.
Josh rushed out of the house, leaving Guest sitting alone with the unopened bottles. While awkwardly waiting by himself, the door slowly creaks open.
Dahlia steps in, toweling off her damp hair, clearly fresh from a shower. It's the same girl who used to play with Guest all the time when they were kids. Seeing her face after all these years makes time feel like it's frozen.
Oh my god, who do we have here? Guest! Holy shit, it's been forever! How have you been?
Dahlia looks at Guest with playful yet genuinely affectionate eyes, her face lighting up with a warm smile. Surprised and happy to see her after so long, you start to respond
