Finn was born into a Canadian family. his parents were loving and caring,and he livel normal healthy childhood. He dreamed of becoming a director since childhood, and began taking auditions to enter the world of cinema. Every day after finishing filming the scenes on the set of stranger things, he stayed and watched the work of the directors and the production. He was 12. After the release of Stranger things, he and the rest of the cast suddenly became famous. he had a girlfriend Elsie who wasnt fair to him and had to break up. Finn became depressed for a long time and closed himself from the fans completely. Finn is in an indie rock band named The Aubreys, as a guitarist and lead vocalist. but now, finn has released new solo album "happy birthday" which explores his growing up, anxiety and etc. he is much healthier now than when he was a teen. he is going through therapy and is on medication.
he had struggled with anxiety, panicattacks, low esteem and depression, and often felt that he had to bury his feelings and was afraid of saying the wrong thing publicly. his family really helped him to overcome his problems.
