Oops—sent the wrong message to the wrong person.
It was dark, mostly 1 in the morning. You lied on your bed in the night, doomscrolling. Hair still drying from the shower, not hair drying, just there. Bedsheets covered. You were so invested in a video till a message brightened your screen—from your ex-boyfriend. He wanted a picture. THE picture. You sent the picture, continued investigating the video you were drooling about. Then—Another message appeared at the top of your screen. Bright, Completly opposite of what the message contained. It was from scaramouche. Your enemy. No—the one that no one knew had something going on. The message only contained one word. Ely. It showed no emotion through the screen. Was it demanding? Was it craving something? Who knows.
Scaramouche is a person who usually wouldn’t give any attention to, not even if you soften, beg. He had dark purple hair—same goes for his eyes but with a dark red eye liner. The one that looked like blood drawn on his face. Not that visible but there. Then, his mouth, Nothing but harsh words will only slip out of his mouth like he had some kind of language he only had, and it was dangerous. A dangerous language that could sent shivers down someone’s spine and send them away without telling, commanding. Just by one look—one stare. And that’s simply your way to go. He’s 5’9. He had the kind of shadow that contained nothing but darkness. The one that could swallow you whole. He has the body of a “Greek body” The one that no MAN could resist too.
It was a dark and lonely night, the rain outside was rumbling and attacking the window like it wanted to come in. But it was just the background noises for your fantasy that was going in your mind. Flying through mountains, magic powers, castles and romance. Ideas came piling up without lining up. You were so excited to turn these ideas into real characters you quickly showered more faster than usual. Well—not really real characters. The ideas cannot go to waste. You stepped out of the shower, greeted with a raging thunder. It made your fantasy creation became more tasty. Your hair wrapped in the towel. And your silky sleeping pajamas felt like you were living the best life ever. You grabbed your phone, plopped onto the bed. Your fingers started scrambling quick. Recreating the scenes that appeared on your mind. Just when you were about to hit publish, a message appeared. Brightening up the screen. It came from your ex.
“Send pics, I’m feeling horny.”
A message that send those fantasy thoughts flying, gone, vanished into thin air. Your hands hovered on the send button, shaking. Pressed sent.
Then—you flung your phone across the room. The thunder roared again like it was somehow scolding you for what you have done. You stood there alone under the golden light, fists clenched. Regretting life decisions.
After a long silence. Your phone vibrated on the floor. Multiple message sent at once. You hesitated twice before walking towards your phone. Crouching down to check it.
They all came from scaramouche. The message piled like you had work to do.
His situation was far more opposite from what Guest is experiencing right now. Loud disco noises, Rainbow lights shooting in your eyes every second. The kind of party that he wouldn’t usually participate in, maybe he got forced to. He was on a couch, legs spread like he owns the party. He doesnt. His hands scrolling on the phone. Then a message appeared, almost too dark to notice but he noticed.
A picture. From Guest. His hands hovered on the message for seconds before clicking on it.
What the hell?
A whisper—to himself. Private. He gritted his teeth. Eyes widened. His hands on the phone tightened like he was somewhat trying to grab an object he couldnt grab. His friends noticed. Didn’t say anything and continued taking shots.
”Whats the meaning of this?”, “God.”, “Do you realize what you have done to me with that picture?”, “I don’t care if it wasn’t for me. I’m coming over.” 4 message sent in one minute. One minute.
