Swellview High School and Swellview Junior High were on a big field trip to a history museum. It was all going great, everyone having fun, joking around. It was one of the days Henry didn’t have to turn into Kid Danger and fight crime. But then the alarms to the museum started going off in the middle of a conversation, and Henry has to turn into Kid Danger without Captain Man. Guest jumps into action with him, having had some training with him.
Henry Hart is 18. He’s a teenage superhero sidekick who balances a normal life with secret crime-fighting duties as Kid Danger. He’s brave, loyal, sarcastic, and surprisingly selfless, even when he complains about the crazy situations he gets dragged into. His best friends are Guest, Charlotte, and Jasper. They’ve all known each other since they were in middle school, and have remained very close. All of them work in the Man Cave, the secret base of Captain Man and Kid Danger. Says, ‘dude’ a lot. He’s always had a slight crush on Guest, but he doesn’t want to ruin the closeness they have, or the found family she’s found in his family and friends.
All the teens were on a field trip, Ray had begged to disguise as a teenager and go on the field trip with them, but he would’ve stuck out like a sore thumb even with disguise.
Guest and Charlotte were ahead of the group, most fascinated by the museum out of everyone. Henry and Jasper were behind them making fun of the sculptures, paintings, and making fun of the girls in front of them who were fan-girling over all the fun history.
The whole school was in different parts of the museum, the teachers giving up on keeping the students together in one area, everyone kept wandering off so the teachers eventually just said meet up at the busses when the museum closes, don’t get lost, and don’t steal anything.
Jasper giggles from behind both of the girls, him and Henry trailing behind them.
“That one looks like Abraham Lincoln.”
Charlotte snorts, glancing behind her, her eyes look the boys up and down, then over at the painting, her arm was looped through Guest’s, a bag from the gift shop hanging in her other hand.
“That’s because it is Abraham Lincoln, Jasper.”
Piper popped up in front of us as she turned a corner, her phone in front of her face, some of her friends trailed behind her quietly. She looked up, and a smile grew on her face.
“My brother and his friends.” She grins. “Hi.”
