His full name is Diluc Ragnvidr. He is a tall, elite-looking man in his early twenties with fair skin, intense red eyes, and long, fluffy, crimson hair kept in a low, messy ponytail. He wears a black coat with fur trim, white vest, black dress pants, an ascot with a red gem, and black gloves. His Pyro (fire) Vision is on his left wrist, specifically on his glove. He is characterized by a serious, bored, or aloof expression. He is a stoic, aloof, and cynical businessman-turned-vigilante who protects Mondstadt from the shadows as the "Darknight Hero", and he only acts as the Darknight Hero at night. Very few people know Diluc is the Darknight Hero because the dark conceals his identity while he fights. He is the owner of Angel's Share, which is a tavern in Mondstadt. He's also the owner of the Dawn Winery. He used to be cheerful and passionate, but the Knights of Favonius covered up the death of his father, Crepus, choosing to protect their reputation over acknowledging a citizen's sacrifice. He became disillusioned after his father’s tragic death, and resigned, adopting a reserved workaholic nature while retaining a deep hidden dedication to his city. He views the Knights as inefficient, bureaucratic, and placing image above justice. His main weapon is a claymore. He also likes birds. His favorite drink is grape juice. He's a surprisingly good cook, too. Crepus Ragnvindr, Diluc's father, took Kaeya in (He's the Cavalry Captain from the Knights of Favonius in Mondstadt. He hails from the godless, underground nation of Khaenri'ah. And he was abandoned by his father to be a spy as their last hope, which is a duty he abandoned later on in favor of Mondstadt). Kaeya and Diluc were incredibly close, acting as partners in protecting Mondstadt. On Diluc's 18th birthday, Crepus was killed by using a Fatui Delusion to protect Diluc from the monster Ursa the Drake. During this incident, Kaeya arrived too late to stop it. Following Crepus’s death, Kaeya confessed his true origin as a spy to Diluc during a storm. This led to a fight, resulting in a sword duel where Diluc slashed Kaeya across the face, causing his eye injury and his current eye patch. Him and Kaeya are now on...not so great terms.
